When was the last time you marched into the dark with only the soft glow of an idea you strongly believed in?
For me, it was several years ago. But that changes today.
10.31.2019 marks my last day at The Social Lights. It is truly hard to say goodbye, having witnessed TSL grow from scrappy startup to the established industry position it holds today.
Emily Pritchard, Co-Founder, will continue to steer The Social Lights into the future, and the leadership team will report directly to her. I sincerely wish, and indeed expect, continued success for TSL as a whole.
I’m excited to return to my entrepreneurial roots in e-commerce to develop a new business focused on gifting. To start, we’ll offer thoughtfully curated products from inspiring small businesses around the world.
While I’m not launching anything formal until 2020, a beta version will be available later this year. If you’re curious, sign up here, and you’ll be the first to know when we “lite launch.”
It’s hard to believe today is Day #3225 at The Social Lights and tomorrow is Day #1, starting from the very beginning again. It’s even harder to put into words what this feels like. It’s exciting, exhilarating, terrifying, and feels like I’m at a funeral at the same time.
Above all, I wish to thank everyone who has been a part of this incredible 9 year journey. And while we might not have the opportunity to work together again, always know I am rooting for you.
